Who we scan for

Whatever you are cutting, we have scanned one like it.

The same accredited technicians and the same reporting, whether it is one core hole or a whole level.

Core drilling & penetrations

Putting a hole through a live slab

  • Plumbing and hydraulic penetrations
  • Electrical and comms conduits
  • HVAC and fire service risers
  • Anchor and starter bar setting
  • Balustrade and fixing points

Most single-penetration jobs are scanned and marked inside an hour.

Cutting, sawing & demolition

Before the saw or the breaker starts

  • Slab and wall saw cutting
  • Stair and lift shaft openings
  • Demolition and strip-outs
  • Trenching through slabs
  • Shopfitting and tenancy works

We mark the deck in paint so the operator can see the no-cut zones from where they stand.

Mapping what is actually in the structure

  • Reinforcement and rebar mapping
  • Post-tension tendon layout
  • Slab thickness and cover checks
  • Void and honeycomb detection
  • As-built records for engineers

Scan data written up as a report your engineer or certifier can rely on.

Talk to our team
Why not just use the plans?

The plans are not a scan.

Structural drawings show design intent, not what actually got poured. Cables get re-routed on site, conduits get added, slabs get modified in later fitouts, and as-builts often never catch up. We scan what is genuinely in the slab today and mark it on the deck so your operator knows exactly where it is safe to cut.

The cost of getting it wrong

What hitting a tendon costs.

Cut a post-tension cable and you are up for structural remediation, an engineer's assessment, a stopped site and a very unhappy builder. A tendon under load is also a genuine safety risk to whoever is holding the saw. A scan takes an hour or two.

FAQs

Questions, answered.

Is there a minimum job size?
No. A one-hour locate for a local plumber or builder gets the same accredited technician, the same equipment and the same clear markings as a multi-week infrastructure package. If it's underground and needs to be found, we'll come out for it.
What is AS 5488-2022 and which quality level will my job be?
AS 5488-2022 is the Australian Standard for Subsurface Utility Information. It defines four Quality Levels: QL-D (records only), QL-C (surface indicators), QL-B (geophysical detection, EM/GPR) and QL-A (physical verification via vacuum potholing). We scope the level required for your project up front and deliver to that standard.
Do you cover after-hours, weekend and shutdown work?
Yes. We mobilise 24/7 across NSW, day, night, weekend and public holidays. Ideal for road-corridor works, rail possessions and live-site shutdowns.
What accreditations do you hold?
Transport for NSW and Sydney Water accredited. CERTLOC certified. Approved DBYD and Telstra locators. NULCA members. Individual technicians hold TfNSW G71 (traffic control) and G73 (utility spotter) tickets and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) credentials.
What deliverables do you provide?
On-site marking to AS 5488-2022, plus digital deliverables in 12D, DWG or DXF, BIM-ready 3D utility strings, SUI spreadsheets and asset registers, with depths and photos, ready to hand to your engineer or certifier.
Do you handle survey and drafting in-house?
Yes. Locators, registered surveyors, drafters and reporting are all in-house at our Lindfield HQ. One team, one point of contact, one accountable delivery, no sub-contracted crews and no gaps between field and office.
