  • Second-storey additions
  • Full internal renovations
  • Heritage and terrace alterations

Our Approach

Concept. Documentation. Approval.

A structured architectural process that keeps every project on time, on budget and on the approval pathway, from first sketch through to keys in hand.

01
Concept
A conversation about how you actually live, site analysis and planning-control review. Concept sketches and a 3D massing model that show, not tell.
02
Documentation
Developed design, coordinated with your structural, hydraulic and BASIX consultants. DA or CDC drawing set prepared to council-review standard.
03
Approval & Build
Council/certifier liaison through to approval, then construction drawings for tender. Contractor questions answered until the last inspection.
The Studio

A small team, fully accountable.

Two registered architects and an architectural graduate, every project runs through the same three sets of hands from first sketch to final approval.

Are you registered architects?
Yes, and this matters. Paul Lopez (NSW ARB #11962) is our Nominated Architect and Meeta Goel (NSW ARB #12899) is a Registered Architect. Both are Australian Institute of Architects members and bound by the Code of Professional Conduct. Draftspeople are not architects and can't legally use the title.
Do you handle small projects like alterations, additions and granny flats?
Yes. We regularly design alterations and additions, secondary dwellings (granny flats), dual occupancies and single-storey additions. Every scope gets the same registered-architect service, no minimum project value.
Will you handle the council DA or CDC for us?
Yes. We assess the DA/CDC pathway from day one, prepare the full submission set and liaise with the certifier or council through to determination. Approval strategy is baked into the design, not bolted on afterwards.
How much do your architectural services cost?
We work on fixed-fee proposals tailored to the scope, new home, addition, dual occupancy or granny flat all quote differently. Send us your site and brief through the form and we'll come back within one business day with a fee proposal and staged deliverables.
How long will my project take?
Concept design typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, DA/CDC documentation another 6 to 10 weeks, and council approval 8 to 16+ weeks depending on the pathway and council. We'll give you a project-specific timeline in the fee proposal.
Do you work with our chosen builder, or do you have preferred contractors?
Both. We're happy to tender the job to your preferred builder, or introduce you to residential contractors we've worked with before across Sydney. Our documentation is designed to be builder-agnostic and priceable by any capable trade.
